WhatsApp Cloud API account is free. You only need to pay WhatsApp API’s conversation-based fees (directly to facebook Meta) without paying additional per message fees, which are set by some BSPs.

WhatsApp Business API is a different service to the WhatsApp Business or personal app. The WhatsApp Business API gives access to the full range of WhatsApp marketing tools and mass camapings so it is chargable.

I have created Whatsapp Cloud API account, how to use?

Once you have created your whatsapp cloud API account, login to our XpressBot marketing platform and provide your WhatsApp API Credentials details in API section. After successful integration you can use your Cloud API number.

Can I send any kind of message through Cloud API?

You can send the following message types: Text messages, Reaction messages, Media messages, Location messages, Contact messages, Interactive messages. Using Cloud API you cannnot participate in group chats

What are Requirements of template message?

A Message template must be approved before it can be used to start a conversation. To start a business-initiated conversation a customer must have opted-in to receive messages from your business.
When sending a message template, you need to specify the language using the language field. Your business is responsible for all translations you wish to use.

What is WhatsApp Business Verified green tick?

Businesses that have been granted the Official Business Account (OBA) status on WhatsApp, get a green tick besides their business name. This is visible in the display name of your contact number even if your WhatsApp business number is not explicitly saved by your users.

How can I get the WhatsApp Business Verified green tick?

To request for a green tick verification, you can simply connect with our support team and send in a request. It normally takes about 3 business days to get the approval. Once your request for the green tick is approved, your number will automatically be displayed as your business name, to your users along with the green tick. This will show that your business is verified.

The first 1,000 conversations each month are free. There are two categories of conversation-based pricing.

What is User-initiated conversations?

User-initiated conversations are conversations initiated by customers. Businesses will be charged user-initiated conversation fees when they reply to messages within the 24-hour messaging window.

What is Business-initiated conversations?

Business-initiated conversations are conversations initiated by businesses outside the 24-hour messaging window. Businesses have to use a Message Template to start a business-initiated conversation.

What are template messages?

A message template is required to start a business-initiated conversation. These conversations can be customer care messages or appointment reminders, payment or shipping updates, alerts, and more.

What are Supported Template Categories?

Marketing – Send promotional offers, product announcements, and more to increase awareness and engagement.
One-time passwords – Send codes that allow your customers to securely access their accounts.
Transactional - Send account updates, order updates, alerts, and more to share important information.

Can I use my existing WhatsApp number for API?

Yes, you can use an existing WhatsApp number for Cloud API . However, you will need to first delete the account linked to that, prior to onboarding with Meta developer account. Virtual number can also be used but voice and video calls cannot be supported via WhatsApp Business API.

What if my green tick request got rejected?

Even if your application is rejected, you will still have access to all WhatsApp API features. However, you won’t have the green tick, and it will display your phone number rather than your business name when texting customers. Also the verification decision lies with the meta team. The green tick is only available to businesses and not public figures. If your application fails, you can reapply after 30 days.

WhatsApp limits the number of messages you can send based on a tier system. Every new account starts at tier 1 after passing the business verification process. You are automatically upgraded to the next tier based on the volume and quality of the messages you send.

Is WhatsApp business API legal?

Yes, the WhatsApp business API is legal and it is used by many large companies to send messages. And it's an entirely transactional route for communication as you can share invoices, alerts, appointment confirmation or cancellation and much more.

Is XpressBot is safe ?

Yes, XpressBot platform is build in accordance with whatsapp requirements and all API request are handled by Meta servers directly so all conversation are secure.

Are their any possibility of my number getting blocked using your platform?

100% your number wont be blocked by whatsapp. Conversely, you can be downgraded to below tier if more of your messages are reported or blocked by users. We advice you to send only approved templates from whatsapp and avoid sending repeated messages.

Is your platform free to use?

The tool is chargeable with one time fee. After that you will have to pay charge for each message directly to WhatsApp.
