Got it! Here’s a guide on how to create and use templates in ExpressBot without diving into code. We’ll cover how to handle templates with no parameters, with parameters linked to variables, and with parameters linked to custom fields, all from a non-coding perspective.
1. Templates Without Parameters
Concept:
A template without parameters is a fixed message that doesn’t change based on user data or any other inputs. It’s static and consistent every time it’s used.
Example:
"Welcome to our service! How can I help you today?"
How to Use:
Simply enter the static message into your bot’s response settings where you configure the bot’s replies. This will be the default message that is shown to users without any modification.
